    Untraceable Authentication Protocol for IEEE802.11s Standard

    In the current paper, a new handover authentication protocol for IEEE802.11s Wireless mesh networks is presented. The new protocol divides the network into a number of cells, each cell contains a number of access points and based on the concept of ticket authentication, the mesh user takes a new ticket when enters the region of a new cell which decreases the handover latency. Moreover, in the current paper, a new idea for ticket generation is proposed, called Chain Ticket Derivation Function (CTDF), which uses the concept of a chain. Using CTDF in our proposed protocol raises the level of privacy for the users. The security analysis presented in the paper showed more strengths in our proposed scheme. Two formal verification tools, AVISPA and BAN logic are used to test the proposed protocol

    A New Secure Lightweight Authentication Protocol for NFC mobile Payment

    As mobile applications grow, securing these applications become an important factor for their success. Especially, when these applications are related to financial transactions. Nowadays, mobile payment that is based on NFC technology is considered one of these important topics. In this paper, we propose A New Secure and Lightweight Authentication Protocol for NFC mobile Payment (NSLA) protocol. NSLA protocol presents a new method to update the users’ identities and the valid session keys, which preserves the privacy and ensures the integrity of the system. The presented performance analysis shows that NSLA protocol satisfies low computation overhead. Moreover, the security analysis proves that NSLA protocol has an immunity against replay attack, brute force attack, denial of service attack, and others types of attacks

    In recent times, many protocols have been proposed to provide security for mobile satellite communication systems. Such protocols must be tested for their functional correctness before they are used in practice. Many security protocols for the mobile satellite communication system have been presented. This paper analyzes three of the most famous authentication protocols for mobile satellite communication system from the security viewpoint of data desynchronization attack. Based on strand spaces testing model, data desynchronization attacks on these protocols were tested and analyzed. Furthermore, improvements to overcome the security vulnerabilities of two protocols are mentioned

    New multicast authentication protocol for entrusted members using advanced encryption standard

    Today there is a widening in digital technologies and increasing in new multimedia services like: pay-per-view TV, interactive simulations, teleconferencing. So there is an increasing demand for multicast communication. There is a number of security issues in multicast communication directly related to the specific nature of multicast. In this paper, we propose a new scheme for authenticating streamed data delivered in real-time over an insecure network, and we concentrate on the multicast authentication problem. Important requirements of multicast communication protocols are: to perform authentication in real-time, to resist packet loss and to have low communication and computation overheads. In this paper, a new multicast authentication scheme is proposed. It is suitable for real time applications. It uses the advanced encryption standard algorithm to solve the problem of entrusted members. This scheme uses the idea of the new index number each time the member sends certain block of packets in the multicast group
